A national property development group contracted Phillips/Sekanick Architects, inc. to work with them in developing an outparcel site at an existing retail plaza in Stow, Ohio. Working with the contractor as part of a design-build arrangement, our firm developed a flexible retail center that included many of the aesthetics of the original plaza concept, while redesigning the elements to the appropriate scale and proportions of the new structure. This project enhanced the developer’s ability to provide a variety of lease spaces, while maintaining consistency of design.
