North Commons Center
Howland Township, Ohio

The North Commons Center is a new retail building concentrating primarily on food service operations. The complex, originally conceived in Spring of 2005, was designed as an outparcel structure in the adjacent Eastwood Mall Complex. Intended as a catalyst for additional development, the construction materials and techniques of the building’s facade allow for future flexibility in finish materials and configurations. With tenant-specific elements providing small distinctions, the metal awnings, limestone columns, brick facade and EIFS facing integrate to create a unified structure. In addition, a front patio enclosed by a railing system provides a casual exterior dining space separated from the adjacent drive.
