Contacted by the local La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries to design a new retail facility featuring the new prototype design, Phillips/Sekanick Architects, inc. worked closely with the contractor and construction department of La-Z-Boy to create a design solution that met the client’s needs. Zoning, access, and landscaping requirements created challenges that were resolved by effective working relationships with the client and local zoning and building agencies. Ensuring adequate parking, ingress and egress routes, and water retention concerns were also addressed in this retail facility.
