Gibson Building
Warren, Ohio

This 50,000 square foot office building located within an urban setting was initially occupied by the State of Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Offices. Built entirely of precast concrete floor and wall panels, the building was designed to address strict requirements of the Bureau in relation to maintenance, security, and data infrastructure while providing flexibility for long-term governmental occupancy. The design was intended to allow construction to progress through the winter months and to meet a limited construction schedule. The Worker’s Compensation offices have subsequently been relocated but flexibility has allowed a seamless transfer to house the District U.S. Social Security Administration Offices.
